Description:
Patricio Enterprises is seeking a Deputy Team Lead to assist in the management of operations and personnel of the ISC in Albany Ga. Primary duties include: Assist in the supervision of a team of Equipment Technicians in a warehouse laboratory setting to ensure quality control and readiness of equipment through repair replacement replenishment and calibration. Applicant should have experience in logistics maintenance management and repair of equipment. Knowledge of Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Defense (CBRND) equipment and Fire Fighting equipment is desired. The ISC was created to provide the CIISPs Field Service Teams with strategic technical and logistics support for the Marine Corps Family of Incident Response (FIRS) and Expeditionary Firefighting/Rescue (EFR) equipment. The ISC maintains the capabilities of distribution preparations spare-parts inventory repair and technical expertise.
Primary duties will include (but not limited to):
- Assist in planning development and oversight of effective support strategies ensuring the ISC meets established goals for operational effectiveness and readiness.
- Maintain warehouse inventory awareness.
- Maintain technical training and proficiency.
- Provide support to Field Service Teams as directed by the ISC Team Lead the Supply Branch Head and/or Operations Officer.
- Ensure assigned personnel perform all functions in accordance with established policy and procedures.
- Provide draft surveillance reports trip reports and associated Equipment Assessment And Readiness System (EARS) data from on-site actions Fielding Service missions sustainment surveillance site visits repair job orders and directed screenings.
- Ensure the quality control in the forms of appropriate inspection testing or function checks is performed prior to equipment getting shipped out of the ISC.
- Ensure all personnel comply with host facility regulations.
- Ensure the calibration of test and support equipment remains current scheduled Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) is completed as scheduled and all equipment remains mission capable
- Ensure applicable technical information (i.e. shelf-life extension messages work instructions surveillance guides technical instruction manuals and orders (TI TM TO) supply bulletins (SB) military standards (MIL-SPEC) etc.) are current and on-hand during operations.
- Assist in ensuring that facilities are maintained in a professional manner.
- Assist in ensuring that technicians maintain certifications as required.
- Receive and remedy FIRS and EFR Support Requests (SR).
Knowledge and Experience needed:
- Ability to research analyze and evaluate information
- Ability to express ideas effectively both orally and in writing
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office
- Effective working knowledge for navigating Global Combat Supporting System Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) to pull reports verify equipment availability location and maintenance status.
- Experience with Marine Corps maintenance accountability and readiness policies.
- Knowledge of DoD unique systems for equipment sustainment
Education and Certifications needed:
- BS/BA with a minimum of three (3) years of general experience or High School Degree/GED and a minimum of five to seven(5-7) years relevant experience in Logistics Maintenance Management and Supply Chain Management operations.
- Must possess a working knowledge of Marine Corps maintenance policies procedures and systems such as GCSS-MC.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Required to be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Required to stand for prolong periods of time.
