Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced LTAC Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing medically complex patients requiring extended hospitalization and continuous cardiac monitoring.

This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting while working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

Shift & Schedule Details

Night shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
3x12-hour shifts per week
36 hours standard; 48 hours per week available
Block scheduling not available
Orientation: 16 hours (non-billable)

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to LTAC patients with complex medical conditions
Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms
Administer medications and IV therapies
Manage ventilators tracheostomies feeding tubes and other advanced equipment as applicable
Collaborate with physicians respiratory therapists and interdisciplinary teams
Document patient assessments interventions and outcomes accurately
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS (Required)
ACLS (Required)
NIH Stroke Certification (Required)
LTAC experience preferred
Strong Med/Surg and Telemetry background
