Lancashire Music Service (LMS) is a business unit working within LCC in a competitive environment generating business and providing outstanding standards of customer care for both internal and external customers.
Location - Corpus Christie Catholic High School St Vincents Road Fulwood Preston PR2 8QY
3.5 hours per week on a Thursday over 38 weeks of the year.
About the Role:
LMS provides tuition ensembles and support to meet the needs of children wishing to learn to play a musical instrument. The service has over 170 specialist teachers delivering weekly tuition to over 18000 pupils within excess of 26000 instruments on loan to schools/parents across the county at any one enables pupils to develop their musical skills further through a range of bands and orchestras. 8 Music Centres meet in the evenings providing a range of ensembles from beginner to advanced levels. 5 County Ensembles rehearse at weekends catering for the needs of advanced pupils.
The Business Support Team is focused on supporting and maintaining these standards and has a significant role in the continuing expansion of the Music Service by displaying a professional attitude and commitment to the delivery of a first-class administrative service in all aspects of our business.
Available Roles:
We are looking to recruit three casual Grade 3 Business Support Officers. These colleagues will support either the county ensembles bands and orchestras or Preston Music Centre. They will support the following:

The Thursday evening post is 3.5 hours per week 38 weeks per year during the school term (set by Lancashire Music Service). It is based at Corpus Christie Catholic High School St Vincents Road Fulwood Preston PR2 8QY with hours to be completed between 3.30pm - 7.00pm.
