Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly motivated bilingual Medical Assistant to assist our medical providers. This role will report to our Medical Office Manager/Site Administrator and enable us to continue to scale in the healthcare industry.

You will be floating between 4 different clinic locations. They may be located in Alhambra Pasadena and/or Arcadia however this is subject to change due to business need. These sites are primary care and specialty clinics.

What Youll Do

Assists physicians nurses and other medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a physician
Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments maintaining medical records
Clinical duties may include such as preparing a treatment room for patient exams recording patient medical history and cleaning and sterilizing medical equipment
Escort patients to exam rooms interview patients measure vital signs including weight blood pressure pulse temperature and document all information in the patients chart
Interviews patients to obtain their medical history
Records patient medical history vital statistics and test results in patient medical files
Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills in a fast-pace environment
Good verbal and written communication skills
Be able to prioritize workload while remaining flexible
May be required to work overtime to meet tight deadlines

Qualifications

Must be bilingual in Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) or Spanish
One (1) or more years of experience working as a Medical Assistant
Active and unrestricted Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in California
High school diploma or GED

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions

The national target pay range for this role is $22 - $26 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location (current or future) experience and other job-related factors.
This role follows a onsite work structure where the expectation is to work onsite 5 days a week. This position requires working at multiple clinic locations as business operations require. The home office is located at 1658 W. Valley Blvd. Suite 120 Alhambra CA 91803.
Work hours: Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:30pm lunch hour at 12:30pm.
