Job Summary
The Executive Director shall be a member of the Arkansas Teacher Retirement Systerr(and ARTA. He/She unless newly retired should have been a member of these organizations long enough to be familiar with both. The Executive Director should represent the entire ARTA membership and be familiar with the history and current status of education in Arkansas. The length of a contract with the person may not exceed two (2) fiscal years; however the contract may be extended as it expires for a period of two (2) years each as the Board of Directors may desire. This is a part-time position. Hours and travel will vary. Salary based on experience.
