The role will support the end-to-end video production process from ideation to execution while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging short-form and long-form content. The role involves tracking digital trends understanding shifts in user behavior and applying creative storytelling to resonate with diverse audiences.

About the Team
The Sports Content team at JioStar plays a pivotal role in shaping the overall broadcast experience for viewers. The team is responsible for curating developing and executing sports content that not only enhances live match coverage but also builds compelling narratives around the game.

Key Responsibilities

    • Create compelling and imaginative short form and long form video content that resonates with the target audience across social media platforms.
    • Staying on top of trends in the digital/social world both in sports & beyond.
    • A profound understanding of social media platforms and shifts in user behaviour on social media.
    • A passionate sports enthusiast with good understanding of cricket.
    • Proficient in Premiere Pro Photoshop and After Effects.
    • Manage end-to-end video production process.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing and content and assist in digital plans for the network through social media.

Skills and Attributes for Success

    • Producing and basic editing skills on Adobe Premier
    • Proficiency in short and long-form content platforms: Instagram YouTube Facebook and emerging social media platforms
    • Openness to working across varied shifts as per broadcast requirements.
    • Fundamental understanding of sports especially cricket in order to follow match narratives and contribute effectively to content creation.

Preferred Education & Experience

    • Bachelors/Masters in Mass communication or Mass media preferred.
