Job Summary

Gabriel Richard Catholic High School

Position Description:
Head Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach
Reports directly to the athletic director and has the responsibility for all girls within the volleyball program. The coach will be required to follow the rules and procedures for Gabriel Richard as well as the Catholic High School League and the MHSAA.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Full overall supervision and development of all girls within the volleyball program including any sub-varsity teams.
Assignments and duties of any assistant/ sub-varsity coaches.
Planning and implementing tryouts practices game plans summer league and youth camp.
Maintains communication with student athletes parents assistant coaches and Gabriel Richard staff.
Working collaboration with the athletic director for the recommendation of any purchases for the program including but not limited to uniforms equipment and supplies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

High level of coaching experience preferred but not required.
Strong understanding of the overall aspects of volleyball
Effective communicator for both parents and student athletes.
Must complete Protecting Gods Children
Must complete school/AOD required fingerprint background check.
Must have or obtain valid CPR certification
Develop and practice an Emergency Action Plan.
Follow all MHSAA and CHSL coaching requirements
