First (Days)Overview:
Sentara Therapy Center Suffolk YMCA is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
This is a Part-Time opportunity with a 25-hour work week.
The work shift will be scheduled within the hours of operation for the facility which is 7:30 am - 6:30 pm.
As a COTA with Sentara you will administer occupational therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of an Occupational therapist.
Also you may assist in the development of treatment plans carry out routine functions and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by an Occupational therapist.
You will provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
Qualifications:
An Associates level degree Certificate Diploma or degree from an accredited school is required.
Current licensure in the state of Virginia or licensure eligible and current National Board Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (NBCOT) or certification eligible
