Job Summary

JOB TITLE:

Social and Recreational Activities Assistant

JOB SUMMARY:

The Social and Recreational Activities Assistant supports the instructor and encourages individuals participation in social recreational and community-based activities. The role focuses on promoting inclusion independence social interaction and accessibility in a safe supportive and engaging environment for individuals who may be neurodiverse or neurotypical enrolled in Village Memberships.

Rate of Pay:

Starting at $20.00 per hour. (Compensation commensurate with experience and education.)

JOB TYPE:

Part Time and Full Time (Non-Exempt)

LOCATION:

Pico-Robertson (Westside of Los Angeles)

SCHEDULE:

Various (select the shifts that align with your availability)
Flexible hours may be required including evenings or weekends

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Certificate or coursework in social services recreation education or a related field (preferred)
Previous experience working with adults with special needs or developmental disabilities (preferred)
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
