Codeworks an LRS company is seeking a Data Engineer (Data Warehouse Developer III) for a contract opportunity. This role offers the chance to apply your data engineering and ETL expertise in support of meaningful work for one of our client partners.
Our client is seeking a Data Engineer to support the agencys Data Management Program. This position contributes to building and maintaining a datadriven and dataliterate organization. The Data Engineer will work as part of a small collaborative team using agile practices to deliver highquality solutions for internal business partners.
This role focuses on designing developing and supporting ETL processes data pipelines and data warehouse solutions to ensure reliable accurate and actionable data.
- Experience gathering requirements and developing technical specifications for ETL processes (6 years).
- Experience using ETL tools to design and build ETL jobs (6 years; experience with Alteryx preferred2 years).
- Experience developing different types of data loads (incremental full/history loads survivorship rules) (6 years).
- Experience implementing Change Data Capture (CDC) (4 years).
- Experience testing and debugging ETL processes (6 years).
- Experience writing and optimizing complex SQL (6 years).
- Experience with ETL job scheduling (2 years).
- Experience loading data warehouses with ETL tools (2 years).
- Experience working with multiple ETL tools.
- Experience using data quality tools and frameworks.
- Experience using sourcecode version control tools.
- Experience providing guidance or knowledgesharing on ETL development.
- Experience managing multiple projects or tasks concurrently.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with technical and nontechnical team members.
The base range for this contract position is $45.00 - $55.00 per hour depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
