Job Description Summary:

The Facilities Architect is a key member of a team that designs and manages construction projects at Drapers campuses. The incumbent applies architectural techniques procedures and criteria to the process and is expected to continually advance their design capabilities. Design documents are produced utilizing Revit.

Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Architectural design of building construction projects in Revit
  • Design and develop test fit options for lab and employee spaces
  • Ensure that design work meets standards building codes guidelines and regulations
  • Maintain master architectural and MEP drawing files for Draper
  • Provide customer support with the layout and selection of furniture to create efficient space
  • Conduct periodic field observation of work during construction to ensure compliance with design documents
  • Provide support to the corporate space planner
  • Revit technical expert to the facilities team
  • Coordinating design elements with other design disciplines

Skills/Abilities

  • Exceptional proficiency with Revit is required
  • Knowledge of construction details and quality standards
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment
  • Constructively builds and maintains relationships with others on the project design team

Education

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture required.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience designing commercial building spaces including offices labs and secure facilities

The US base salary range for this full-time position is

$75000.00 - $156000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training. Union ranges will be in compliance with the collective bargaining agreements approved rates by location and role.
