Job Summary
Project Engineer
Location: Houston TX
Overview: Lead technical performance across all engineering phases of integrity maintenance projects including ILI maintenance digs cathodic protection remediation and asset integrity maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute engineering strategies aligned with project objectives
- Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to ensure quality standards are met
- Manage RFI resolution and address technical content of purchase orders
- Oversee commissioning plans and ensure accurate documentation for regulatory compliance
- May direct work of other engineers and support staff
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Engineering 5 years of progressive experience in natural gas or petrochemical industry
- 2 years in a project engineering role focused on asset integrity cathodic protection or corrosion mitigation
- Strong knowledge of PHMSA regulations (CFR 192/195) and NDT technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with procurement and contract administration
- Strong understanding of project controls estimating and integrity maintenance repairs
Preferred:
- PE certification
- Corrosion control or asset integrity certifications
- Power BI and Risk Analysis experience
- Pipeline construction experience
- Aconex and system flow analysis experience
- Lead Certification
