Responsibilities
As a Monitor Tech you will be an essential member of the clinical care team responsible for continuously observing and interpreting heart rhythm patterns toidentify document and report both normal and abnormal findings. You will collaborate closely with clinical leaders to organizeupdateandmaintainpatient charts from admission through discharge ensuring accuracy and continuity of care. Your ability to recognize and differentiate between lethal and nonlethal arrhythmias plays a critical role in supportingtimelyclinical responses and promoting patient safety.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate
- Successful completion of a Basic Arrhythmia Recognition or ECG/EKG interpretation course
Licenses and Certifications
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA)
