Job Summary

Senior Social Worker (Bereavement Support Services)

0.5 WTE (17.5 hrs)

Indefinite contract

Board of Directors funded

Based in Harolds Cross

To provide bereavement support and counselling for children and adults whose family member or friend received care from OLH&CS.

Essential Requirements

Qualifications:

National Qualification in Social Work (NQSW) or equivalent

Registration as a Social Worker with CORU

Further post graduate training in bereavement

Full driver licence

Experience:

Five years post qualification relevant experience in social work

Experience in working the area of bereavement and loss

Experience in Counselling work

Experience in Group work

Intermediate level IT skills

Desirable Requirements

Experience:

Experience of working in hospice or palliative care setting

Medical Social Work Experience

Research Skills
