The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) sees a Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team in Huntsville AL.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide design analysis and review of Power Electronics and Analog Electronics.
- Contribute to Internal Research and Development (IRAD) of products solutions and systems.
- Lead and support technical improvement of existing products and components.
- Set standard operational and technical tasks subject to instructions and work routines utilizing reasonable latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete tasks and duties based on changing work situations.
- Create company technology development strategies.
- Develop design and conduct research that results in new product offerings or business opportunities.
This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 10 years of related work experience.
- Analog power electronics experience.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical Mechanical or Aeronautical) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) computer science engineering data science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 20 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent the USA ABET accreditation is the preferred although not required accreditation standard.
