The Flightline Supervisor is responsible for the overall execution of aircraft launch and recovery operations. This role ensures the timely generation of training sorties in strict compliance with customer schedules. The supervisor leads and mentors a team of Aircraft Servicers while prioritizing safety efficiency and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all aircraft launch and recovery operations to meet daily sortie requirements.
- Ensure compliance with customer schedules operational directives and safety standards.
- Lead mentor and supervise a team of Aircraft Servicers to maintain high performance and morale.
- Monitor flightline activities to ensure adherence to established procedures and timelines.
- Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections to verify readiness and compliance.
- Coordinate with Maintenance Control Quality Assurance and Operations to resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure proper documentation of all flightline activities and maintain accurate records.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Support training programs for Aircraft Servicers and ensure continuous skill development.
- Participate in audits inspections and readiness reviews as required.
- Responsible for managing Foreign Object Damage (FOD) program.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in Aviation or related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in aircraft servicing or flightline operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Thorough knowledge of flightline procedures safety standards and operational requirements.
- Ability to interpret and apply technical manuals and operational directives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance tracking systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Army aviation or military flightline operations.
- Familiarity with GCSS-Army ULLS-A(E) or similar systems.
- Leadership training or certification (e.g. Lean Six Sigma Maintenance Management).
- Knowledge of AS9110 / ISO 9001 quality standards.

Work Conditions
- Contingent upon contract award.
- Work performed outdoors on flightline with exposure to noise weather and moving aircraft.
- May require overtime shift work and weekend support during peak operational periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying weather conditions.
