Position Purpose:
Nursing Educators facilitate staff competency in providing Relationship-Based Care by using adult learning principles demonstrating interest in and respect for learners and creating an environment of safety for both patients and colleagues. Nursing Educators work in collaboration with the Education Department and other departments to assess plan develop implement/coordinate and evaluate the learning process and skill acquisition of colleagues students and instructors of affiliating schools. Collaborative functions include the orientation process preceptor development and programming continuing education staff development mandatory education and new product/new process education.
This position will be supporting onboarding of our new colleagues for our Medical Surgical Inpatient Rehab and ICU departments.
Shift Available: Day Shift
Status Available: Full time benefit eligible - 72 hours per pay period - every two weeks
