Job Summary
Youll build the financial foundation for Alexas international expansion by creating country-level financial statements conducting variance analysis and automating processes to scale our operations efficiently. This role combines strategic financial planning with hands-on execution directly impacting how we grow Alexas presence worldwide.
Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Financial Analyst youll deliver country-level financial reporting and variance analysis comparing actuals to forecasts while building and maintaining financial statements for international addition you will also lead AWS cost budgeting for the Alexa International organization and conduct monthly AWS cost reviews with business partners.
As a strategic partner youll work with finance leads to develop financial models for advertising and subscription programs that inform critical business decisions. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams across Amazon working alongside business and finance leaders to align on priorities and support Alexas global growth strategy.
Youll also perform deep-dive analyses to answer critical business questions and support new market launches and business initiatives with financial insights as needed.
About the team
The Alexa International Finance team operates at the intersection of innovation and scale. We support Alexas expansion into new markets while maintaining financial rigor and control. Youll work with talented finance professionals product teams and business leaders who are passionate about bringing Alexa to customers worldwide.
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting business economics or a related analytical field (e.g. engineering math computer science)
- 3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- MBA or CPA
- Experience in financial modeling P&L management or analysis
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
