We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join our Consumer team specializing in the PC and tablet markets in North America and globally. This role combines client communication primary research data analysis and industry expertise to deliver comprehensive country- and regional-level market intelligence on the PC and tablet markets for our global tier-one clients.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Communication
- Lead in client engagements. Primary contact window for all local client communication regarding North American and global insights and data-related inquiries supported by the global PC analyst team and insights from primary research within their networks.
- Present market research findings in clear structured formats suitable for various stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with clients and team members across multiple time zones to ensure timely communication and delivery of insights.
Thought Leadership
- Produce insightful opinionated reports that clients and prospects actively seek.
- Provide expert commentary on industry news and trends establishing yourself as a recognized thought leader in the PC space.
- Represent Omdia at high-profile industry events and forums.
Research & Analysis
- Lead in-region primary research efforts including interviews with key PC industry stakeholders and face-to-face meetings to build strong relationships and credibility.
- Deliver qualitative analysis that explains market developments highlights risks and opportunities and provides actionable guidance to various stakeholders.
- Contribute to market tracking databases and forecasts using robust primary and secondary research clearly documenting assumptions and creating compelling narratives around market trends.
- Develop and maintain a robust network of industry contacts throughout the PC industry.
Commercial & External Communication
- Contribute to the development of new research initiatives focused on PC market dynamics.
- Contribute to PR blogs and marketing activities to promote PC country- and regional-level research insights
- Support the sales and customer success teams to ensure client requests and other research needs are met promptly.
- Support sales and marketing activities in business development including identifying new opportunities supporting client renewals and contributing to custom research projects.
- Develop and maintain a robust network of contacts throughout the PC industry.
Success Metrics
- Quality and accuracy of quantitative and qualitative market intelligence
- On-time delivery of research products
- Client satisfaction and retention
- Expansion of commercial footprint with key prospects
- Growing Omdias brand in PC research expertise in North America
This role requires frequent domestic travel and occasional international travel to attend industry events meet with contacts and conduct in-person research.
