Our service at Helping Hands South Rock is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engagement programs for our primary-age children. This is a Permanent Part time opportunity offering 20 hours per week to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators. The hours are Monday - Friday 6:00am-9:00am & 2:45pm-6:30pm.
About the role
Co-managing a team of Educators youll have the perfect balance of support and leadership opportunities. You will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years with the support of a state specific office plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
- Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM sport cooking art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
- Foster healthy relationships with children the school community and parents
- Lead a team of Educators onsite including roster management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration
Who are we looking for
- Enjoy working with kids
- Strong and clear communication
- Team player with a desire to become a service leader
- Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (well pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
- Australian work rights

Qualifications :
Obtained or working towards a relevant Diploma or higher qualification for working with children as per ACECQA
