As a Provisional Psychologist you will play an important role in supporting job seekers facing complex barriers. This is a varied handson role that will help you develop strong clinical foundations while making a real impact.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments across mental health psychosocial and vocational needs.
- Offer person-centred counselling intervention as needed utilising various evidence-based psychological methodologies.
- Deliver practical strategies to support mental health and wellbeing.
- Liaise with external providers health professionals and community services.
- Work closely with Job Coaches and internal teams to support sustainable employment outcomes.
- Provide guidance to staff regarding psychological services where appropriate.
This role gives you exposure to diverse presentations and settings that accelerate your development as an emerging clinician.
Qualifications :
You will bring:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology with eligibility for Provisional Registration with AHPRA.
- Knowledge of assessment and intervention strategies
- Strong communication and rapportbuilding skills
- Ability to write clear and accurate case notes and reports
- A genuine passion for people and community impact
- Willingness to learn grow and take on feedback
- Ability to obtain a Police Check and Working With Children Check
