In Christ we strengthen the most persecuted. We connect the Australian and New Zealand church with their persecuted family to deepen one anothers discipleship journey. When you work with us youll get the chance to strengthen the faith of persecuted Christians living in the most dangerous places to follow Jesus.

Working for Open Doors means being challenged and encouraged in your faith every day! Its a privilege to be in a job that helps strengthen the global body of Christ.
Seeing and hearing real stories of persecution has forced me to see my walk with Christ in a new way.
It is such a joy to know that Im using the gifts that God has given me to help serve those who need to be served.
Working with us also provides the opportunity to be a part of regular team devotions access to Christian counselling and mentoring as well as coming together for bi-annual team days for fellowship prayer and worship.

As a growing and respected ministry that supports persecuted Christians in more than 70 countries we are the leading voice on Christian persecution and trusted partner to build a mature and unified global Church. Were excited to hire someone who shares the same ideals by connecting with like-minded people partners and communities.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Relationship Manager youll build trusted partnerships with churches and key supporters across Sydney and Regional NSW. Youll connect with pastors and leaders preach and speak in churches strengthen networks and help Christians grow in their understanding of the persecuted church.
The role blends relational ministry public communication and strategic partnership development. Your week will include meeting with partners growing an active portfolio of churches and major givers and speaking in around 25 churches each year. Regular travel across NSW is expected and because many services fall on Sundays weekend ministry is part of the role with timeinlieu provided.
With the southern regions already supported by another team member this role will largely serve churches across Sydneys northern and western areas the Central Coast Newcastle the Mid North Coast Western NSW and surrounding regions. Applicants from elsewhere in NSW are still welcome.
Youll enjoy a high degree of autonomy supported by the Church Area Lead a passionate team of Relationship Managers across ANZ and our Relationship Facilitators.
WHAT YOU BRING
* A proven track record in initiating growing and sustaining partnerships working purposefully
toward defined objectives.
* Exceptional communicator confident with diverse audiences in both one-on-one and group settings.
* Experience in developing new leads and nurturing existing networks especially within the New
South Wales church landscape.
* Skilled public speaker experienced in delivering engaging gospel-centred messages in churches
conferences and media.
* Experience in fundraising with organisations churches and highnetworth individuals.
* Ability to work well independently and collaboratively within a supportive team.
* Personally committed to the mission of strengthening and equipping persecuted Christians.
* A strong-work ethic a teachable spirit and a passion to make a difference.
Essential:
* Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding set targets and objectives.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Highly developed presentation preaching and public speaking skills.
Desirable:
* Experience working within Christian organisations churches or ministries.
* Experience in the notforprofit or For Purpose sector or professional experience from corporate
settings that translates well into a missiondriven role.
* Experience in sales or other relationshipdevelopment roles.
* Theological training and/or formal biblical qualifications.
