The Chimes School is a nonpublic MSDE-approved special education program serving students ages 521 with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Were known for our supportive team-based environment strong clinical and behavioral services and a shared commitment to helping every student build communication independence and confidence.

Were expanding and looking for a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist who believes in the power of progressone meaningful moment at a time.

What Youll Do

Provide speech/language evaluations and deliver therapy services (direct and consultative) aligned with student IEPs
Develop measurable IEP goals and collaborate with educators families and related service providers
Maintain timely documentation and ensure compliance with applicable school and state requirements (including COMAR)
Support staff with strategies and tools that enhance communication including assistive technology as needed
Participate in team meetings professional development and other school-based activities

What You Bring

Education & Licensure

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
Maryland SLP license (current)
ASHA CCC-SLP or eligibility for certification

Experience & Skills

At least 1 year of relevant experience (school setting or working with children/individuals with disabilities preferred)
Strong collaboration skills and a student-centered compassionate approach
Acceptable driving record (may be required based on assignment)
