Role Details:
As the Finance Manager you will partner with senior leaders across Procurement Global Trading Supply Chain and Energy. This is a high-impact role suited to someone who goes beyond the numbers providing commercial insight challenge and strategic guidance to help drive business performance.
Based at Essendon Fields youll lead a small team while working closely with key stakeholders including senior executives and operational leaders to shape financial outcomes and influence decision-making across complex business units.
What Youll Do:
- Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner across Procurement Global Trading Energy Supply Chain and Visy Glass International/Visypak operations.
- Deliver financial reporting budgeting forecasting and analysis to drive performance and profitability.
- Provide commercial insight to support strategic initiatives new business cases and global trading strategies.
- Implement and maintain strong financial controls ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Lead a high-performing team providing coaching development and clear direction.
- Partner with crossfunctional leaders to improve systems processes and cost management.
- Support continuous improvement and innovation across finance functions.
What You Will Bring:
- 10 years finance experience in commercial or operational environments.
- CA or CPA qualification.
- Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and drive commercial outcomes.
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing and developing teams.
- Experience in fast-paced complex environments (manufacturing exposure desirable).
- High attention to detail results focused and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience with SAP or Hyperion (advantageous).
