Blank Childrens Hospital a service of UnityPoint Health - Des Moines is completelydedicated to meeting the unique health care needs of children. Blank Childrens is a 108-bed environment that embraces and encourages families to be a part of their childs healing and recovery. Everything from equipment to decor is designed specifically for children.

• Join a team of 7 board-certified Neonatologists 13 outstanding Neonatal Nurse Practitioners with long-term professional relationships
• Ancillary services at your fingertips including dieticians pediatric pharmacists OT/PT and speech therapists social workers lactation specialists and case managers
• The NICU is covered by a full complement of pediatric subspecialties including cardiology general pediatric surgery gastroenterology pulmonology endocrinology hematology genetics ophthalmology and ENT
• Blank Childrens Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unity is a Level 3B 44 bed single roomed with three double rooms for multiples

• Care for critically ill infants who are born at Methodist Medical Center or transferred in from network hospitals
• Patient ranges from extremely preterm infants (>22 weeks GA) to those with complex medical/surgical needs cared for prenatally by our Fetal-Neonatal Center
• Full range of service include but not limited to non-invasive conventional high frequency Jet and Oscillatory ventilation inhaled nitric oxide and therapeutic total body cooling
• Division sees between 950-1050 admissions annually with 4500-5500 births annually

• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of State
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physicians field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
• J-1 waiver sponsorship available
