withHGInventorySpecialistHGMillOperator HG Sales Manager HG General Manager otherHG staff andRiverPartners finance department. They areresponsiblefororganizing/maintainingphysicalinventoryandprocessingordersinatimelymanner.
problem-solvingskillsarerequiredtoassistwiththecomplexitiesassociatedwithprovidingnativeseeds to support large-scale habitat restoration. The position requires a can-do attitude that includes a
willingnessto assist with any and all elementsofthe seed production and sales processfrom office areas at times during the year.
EssentialFunctionsandResponsibilities:
- Theemployeewillberesponsibleformaintainingorganizationofphysicalinventoryofseedsin the warehouse.
- Thiswillalsoincluderetestingandsamplingofseeds.
- Duringthewinter/springworkinconjunctionwiththeofficetophysicallyweighandtruthour inventory to make sure an accurate record of our inventory is kept.
- DuringthesummertheywillworkinconjunctionwithourMillOperatortoinventory andsample product that is coming off mills.
- Inputproductsintosystemandorganizeintoappropriatephysicallocations.
- Duringthefallwillberesponsiblewiththeassistanceofadditionallaborwhenneededfor putting orders together.
- Thiswillinvolvepullingthecorrectproductfromtheshelfandmixingthecorrect amounts of seed together by hand.
- TheywillthenberesponsibleforcoordinatingwiththeSalesteamtoensurepickup or delivery happens in a timely manner.
- Gainacompleteunderstandingoftheprocessstepsforplantinggrowingharvestingcleaning mixing and bagging native seed.
- Willingnesstoassistwithawidevarietyoftasksfromeasytocomplex.
- AbilitytoworkindependentlyundertheguidanceoftheHeritageGrowersmanagementteam.
- Detailedrecordkeepingandahighlevelofaccuracy.
- Clearcommunicationacrossmanyteamsandstakeholders.
- Otherassignmentsasrequested.

Qualifications:
- Bachelorsdegreeinagricultureispreferredbutnotrequired.
- 1to3yearsofwarehouseexperience
- 1to3yearsofinventorymanagementpreferred.
- Demonstrates appropriate verbal analytical organizational and written skills
- Demonstratesstrongattentiontodetailandahighlevelofaccuracyinwork.
- ProficientinMicrosoftExcelandotherOfficeapplicationsexperiencewithSharePointPowerBI or Strinos is a plus.
- Excellentanalyticalproblem-solvingandorganizationalskills.
- AvaliddriverslicensewithacleanDMVrecord
- AbilitytospeakSpanishiswelcomedbutnotrequired.
- Abilitytomovebagsofseedthatcanweighupto50lbs.
- Somepriorforkliftexperienceispreferred.
Compensation:
Rate iscommensurate with experience anticipated to range between $26.00 to $30.00hourly. River Partnersoffersagenerousbenefitspackageincludingampleholidaysandpaidtimeoffanalternative
workweekscheduleflexiblelocationandhoursmedicalinsuranceandupto4%401(k)matchonyour contribution.
Location:
ThispositionisbasedinColusa
throughFridaywithastarttimerangingfrom6-7amdependingonthetimeofyearandwilltypicallybe an 8-hour long shift with potential overtime if needed during the busy season.
