JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Seeking a passionate dynamic and skilled bilingual Spanish Creative Arts Therapist (art drama music or dance/movement therapy or registered play therapist) to join an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals on the forefront of trauma-informed care in a creative arts therapy program for children exposed to domestic violence and their non-offending parents. This dedicated reliable and flexible individual will be responsible for providing all aspects of trauma-informed individual family and group therapy to both children and adults including intake assessments and treatment planning documentation in the electronic health record system and discharge planning. Must be an enthusiastic team player and demonstrate initiative.

Specifications:
- Education/Certification:
- Masters degree in Creative Arts Therapy (art drama music or dance/movement therapy) or Registered Play Therapist and appropriate board certification and license required
- Experience:
- 1-3 years of professional experience working with children and families who have experienced domestic violence
- Candidate is required to complete 40 hours of domestic violence training mandated by the State of NJ upon hire
- Verbal and written fluency in Spanish
- Training: Completion of 40 hours of domestic violence training mandated by the State of NJ upon hire.
- Knowledge: Psychiatric disorders treatment modalities community resources and clinical interventions.
Skills and Abilities:
- Biopsychosocial assessments differential diagnosis and therapeutic engagement.
- Mobilize strengths provide assistance in obtaining services and create case formulations.
- Assess abuse and neglect work with resistant consumers and maintain strong communication skills.
Professional Characteristics:
- Open warm empathic ethical creative organized flexible and dedicated.
- Ability to work independently collaboratively and seek continuous improvement.
Salary : $54000
