Key Responsibilities:
- Develop implement and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures
- Conduct inspections and tests on materials products and processes
- Analyze production and quality data to identify trends defects and areas for improvement
- Lead or participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving for quality issues
- Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering production supply chain etc.) to resolve quality concerns
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation (procedures work instructions reports)
- Assist with internal and external audits (ISO customer regulatory)
- Train staff on quality standards inspection techniques and best practices
- Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs)
- Support supplier quality management and conduct supplier audits or inspections
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Six Sigma etc.)
- Address customer complaints related to product or service quality
Qualifications- Bachelors degree in engineering or related science degree
- Familiarity and experience with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001)
- Certifications (e.g. Six Sigma or ASQ) preferred
- Strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience and proficiency with statistical process control and data analysis and reporting tools (e.g. Minitab Excel)
- Root cause analysis and problem-solving (e.g. 5 Whys Fishbone Diagram)
- Familiarity with corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes
- Data analysis and reporting (Excel Minitab or similar tools)
- Technical writing (procedures work instructions reports)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Project management and organizational skills
- Communication and interpersonal skills (working with cross-functional teams)
