Job Summary

40 hours per week

Position: Electrical Apprentice

As an apprentice you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the electrical trade while working alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the installation maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment

- Learn and follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment

- Read and interpret blueprints diagrams and schematics

- Use hand and power tools to complete tasks under the supervision of a journeyman electrician

- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and make necessary repairs

- Keep work areas clean and organized

- Communicate effectively with team members and clients

- Continuously learn and improve skills through on-the-job training and classroom instruction

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Enrolled in or completed a vocational or technical school program in electrical work preferred

- Strong interest in the electrical trade and willingness to learn

- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools

- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

- Physically able to perform tasks such as climbing ladders lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces

- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
