Job Summary:
The Compliance Officer will ensure supplier and factory adherence to labor environmental and regulatory standards. This role oversees audits corrective actions and compliance programs while maintaining strong relationships with local authorities and stakeholders to support ethical safe and legally compliant operations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Schedule training for new suppliers and factories
- Conduct compliance audits and prepare audit reports
- Review audit reports from 3rd party monitoring firms
- Manage suppliers and factories corrective action plans
- Schedule face-to-face meetings with suppliers regarding compliance issues when needed
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with appropriate local labor officials leaders and NGOs
- Maintain and update records for the compliance program
- Assist in compliance project implementation
- Ensure on-time delivery in economic indicators
- Team player in human indicators
Main Requirements:
- University graduate
- Knowledge of labor and environmental law in China
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experience
- Positive attitude self-motivated and results-driven
- High ethical standards
- Good interpersonal organizational and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- High proficiency in written/spoken Chinese (Mandarin) and English
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to China
- A team player
