Principal Consultant JIRA
Job Summary
Inbox Business Technologies is seeking a highly capable Principal Consultant - JIRA to lead and support enterprise Jira / Jira Service Management (JSM) implementations consulting engagements and ITSM transformation initiatives. The role requires strong technical expertise stakeholder management capability and experience working in enterprise environments to drive successful delivery and optimization of Jira-based solutions.
Lead and support enterprise Jira / Jira Service Management (JSM) implementations and enhancements
Configure and optimize workflows SLAs automation rules permission schemes and service projects within Jira / JSM
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable Jira-based solutions
Drive stakeholder discussions solution workshops requirement gathering and implementation activities
Support ITSM processes including Incident Change Problem Request and Asset Management practices
Contribute to solution design technical advisory and customer-facing engagements
Work closely with internal teams customers and project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and adoption
Support troubleshooting optimization integrations and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field
6 - 8 years of hands-on experience with Jira / Jira Service Management (JSM) and enterprise IT environments
Strong understanding of ITSM processes including Incident Change Problem Request and Asset Management
Experience with Jira/JSM administration workflow configuration SLA management permission schemes and service project implementations
Experience in requirement gathering stakeholder alignment and solution discussions
Strong analytical problem-solving communication and stakeholder management skills
- ITIL certification
- Exposure to Jira Asset Management (Insight)
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs HTML or JavaScript
- Experience working in enterprise IT environments
- Customer-facing implementation or consulting experience preferred
