Were currently seeking a Respiratory Care Therapist 1/2 (Registered) to join our Respiratory Department to provide respiratory care procedures to patients.

Possession of a current Louisiana Respiratory Therapist license and accreditation with the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.

Job Duties:

• Receive verify and administer physicians prescriptions. Obtain requisitions and place appropriate information on them.

• Perform all Pulmonary Function Tests ordered by physicians on patients

• Perform EKGs and assist with EKGs in the absence of EKG Technicians

• Attend educational in-services and mandatory trainings.

Work Location:The Respiratory Care Therapist 1/2 (Registered) position is located in the Respiratory Department.

Shift:Shift will be determined by Manager/ Supervisor.

Compensation:Salary depends on qualifications.

Additional Pay(received in addition to base pay above for every worked)

• Shift 2 -- $2/hour

• Shift 3 -- $2.50/hour

• Weekends --$2.50/hour

• Holidays --$2.50/hour
