About the Role

AsVPof the TAAP segment youareresponsible forintegrated globalcampaigns and growth marketingstrategiesthat meaningfully drive the business andsolidify TAAP as the #1 AI leader forthetaxauditand accounting professionals we serve.

Youwill lead thedevelopment ofcomprehensive marketing strategies and campaignscascade differentiated and compellingnarrativesandleadcriticalmarketinginitiativesacross USCanadaand Europeto achieve the financial and strategicobjectivesof theTAAPbusiness. Key stakeholders andpartners includeSales FinanceStrategyProduct MarketingBrandCommsDigital Ops.


This is a highly visible positionthat liaises with Segment President General Managers and C-suite executives. The ideal candidate will bean integrated full-stack marketer data-driven and customer obsessedentrepreneurialandexude ownership of the businessable to deliver tangible results in a matrixed environment.

This role reports to the Head of Demand Generation and into the Chief Marketing Officer.

WhatYoullDo

With deep functional and strategic marketingexpertise exceptional leadership skills and relevant professional experience the successful candidate will focus on the following:

  • Deliver both short and long-term revenueobjectivesby creating and executing a marketing strategy aligned to Segments strategic plan and objectives.

  • Build strongcross-functionalteamand drive boldbest-in-class marketingto advance marketing strategy for new and existing products in direct partnership with functional Centers of Excellence includingproduct marketingdigital marketing PRcontent etc.

  • Developkeymarketing messaging creativeconcepts and design audience targeting segmentation and retargeting strategies to deliver effective results.

  • Spearhead innovative marketing that is grounded in a compelling vision clearly defined priorities and measurable business results that are aligned withTAAPs strategy.

  • Own all execution/operational resultsacross US Canada andEurope in addition to collaborating across global enterprise marketing functions. Leverage thought leadership toelevateTR as aLeader inGen AIinnovationand Saas marketing

  • Partner with finance& analyticsto define and track data and insights around acquisition and customer retention consistently balancing both short and long-term results.

  • Inspire empower and develop atalented marketingteam;optimizeorganizational structureand streamline hand-offs.

  • Own and champion internal AI roadmap within marketing.

This position can be based out of any of our US hub locations: New York NY Frisco TX Eagan MN Ann Arbor MI.

About You

You are a fit for the role of Vice PresidentDemand GenTax Audit& Accounting Professionals if you possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Experience leading global teams in a matrixed environment with a data-driven approach.

  • Extensive leadership experience in enterprise technology and cloud-centric industries; scale and sophistication of a large global business.

  • A track recordof success as an innovator and marketing strategist with 15 or more years of diverse experience in the technology industry.

  • Demonstrated experience leading and growing a successful SaaS marketing organizationoflarge scope global reach and complexity.

  • Confirmed experience driving marketing strategy and programs (thought leadership demand generation) at scale.

  • Depth of knowledge and experience effectively crafting and running demand generation strategies working closely with Sales and Product Marketing leadership.

  • Steadfastfocuson the customer experience.

  • Deep understanding of marketings role in delivering time-to-value as well as topline revenue.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: New York City San Francisco Los Angeles and/or Irvine CA; McLean VA; Washington DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $201600 USD - $374400 USD. For any eligible US locations unless otherwise noted the base compensation range for this role is $175000 USD - $325000 USD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individuals knowledge skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
