Job Summary

Associate Veterinarian Chesapeake VA

A growing animal care practice is seeking a licensed Veterinarian to join its clinical team. This opportunity offers a supportive environment where doctors are encouraged to practice high-quality medicine build long-term client relationships and expand their clinical expertise while contributing to a collaborative care culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat urgent medical conditions minor injuries and same-day care needs

  • Perform medical procedures and administer appropriate treatments

  • Interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment recommendations

  • Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding care plans and follow-up instructions

  • Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records

  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

  • Active veterinary license (or eligibility for licensure)

  • Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
