Warehouse Bottle Picker 17.50 ph Shift starts at 430pm until complete

The Bottle Picker pulls and prepares items for shipment according to order labels prepares and loads outbound shipments and maintains the safety/sanitation/security of the logistics environment. He or she meets standard productivity goals daily and appropriately handles all materials following company policies and procedures to ensure a sanitary safe and secure workplace. Specific duties and responsibilities will be assigned according to assigned work station.

• Must be 18 years or older
• Six months of experience in a similar position preferred
• Experience in operating a pallet jack forklift and other power equipment preferred
• High School or vocational school diploma or GED equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Place labels on boxes in the order received
• Pull bottle from location and verify exact quantity size and type of product and condition of bottles before placing in box
• Handle and carry multiple bottles while filling orders
• Accurately fill boxes with wine/liquor as they enter assigned zone
• Push the box/order down a conveyor to the next zone; process repeated throughout shift.
• Carry full cases to assigned pick zones to complete assigned task
• Alert management when product inventory is low and needs replenishment
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain the facility and equipment in a neat clean orderly and safe manner
• Keep appropriate records to guarantee inventory control rotation of stock and security are maintained
• Assist in maintaining the security of the logistics
• Assist in other zones when necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Able to stack unstack and relocate large amounts of product throughout the day
• Able to perform greater than average lifting (50-65 lbs) with some overhead lifting required
• Must have specific vision abilities that include close vision distance vision and the ability to judge distance
