Duration: 8 weeks
Shift: 3x12 Nights (7:00pm7:30am)
Pay: $1915.20/week
Completion Bonus: $1600 per contract (up to $4800 after three contracts)

Job Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse for an 8-week travel assignment. This is a fast-paced unit caring for patients with cardiac dysrhythmias stroke and complex medical comorbidities. First-time travelers are accepted. Every other weekend is required. Floating within specialty and to lower acuity units may occur based on census needs.

This is a high-submittal role qualified candidates are encouraged to apply quickly.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care to MS/Telemetry patients (adolescent adult geriatric populations)
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Manage dysrhythmias and respond to rapid response/code situations
• Administer cardiac drips within ordered parameters (non-titrated)
• Provide pre/post cardiac cath and post-MI care
• Manage chest tubes feeding tubes IV therapy and blood product administration
• Perform EKGs and telemetry monitoring
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation
• Float within specialty and lower acuity units as needed

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license (or Compact) required at submission
• Minimum 2 years recent MS/Telemetry experience required
• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS (AHA) required
• NIHSS required
• CPI certification required (Calm Every Storm vendor accepted)
• Epic experience preferred
• Must meet 50-mile local radius rule
• 2 professional references required (1 supervisor/manager 1 charge RN acceptable)
