Pay Rate/Range:$18-24/hr
Description: A precision metal fabrication company is seeking an experienced Material Handler to join their team. This role is responsible for unloading steel trucks inspecting and accurately receiving incoming tubing and flat steel and properly marking and storing materials. Additional duties include moving steel to fabrication machines supplying operators with required materials maintaining organized storage areas emptying scrap bins and supporting general shop operations as needed.
Job Requirements: Candidates must have previous experience as in a similar role and be experienced in operating a forklift. Experience operating overhead cranes or hoists is preferred. Applicants must hold a valid Class C drivers license. Strong communication skills dependability and the ability to work cooperatively are required. They must be able to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently.
Job Type:Contract-to-Hire
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
