Position Overview

We are seeking a Full-Time Interventional Radiologist to support comprehensive hospital-based radiology services at Wellington Regional Medical Center. This role follows a structured block coverage model designed to support clinical continuity procedural volume and sustainable work-life balance. The position includes procedural responsibilities integrated call coverage and the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative multidisciplinary clinical environment. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise sound clinical judgment and a commitment to high-quality patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures including angiography biopsies catheter insertions vascular interventions and ablations
Interpret diagnostic imaging to guide procedural planning
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (surgery oncology emergency medicine hospitalists etc.)
Maintain compliance with quality safety and regulatory standards
Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and communication
Provide timely consultative support to referring providers
Participate in departmental meetings case conferences and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

MD or DO degree
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology
Eligible for Florida medical licensure
Proficiency in minimally invasive image-guided procedures
Excellent communication and professionalism
Ability to excel in a fast-paced collaborative clinical environment

Compensation

Compensation is aligned with coverage commitment employment classification and annual workload expectations under an approved block scheduling model.
Final compensation is determined by approved coverage level RVU productivity expectations and employment classification.
Full-Time Coverage (26 Weeks / 182 Shifts per Year)
W-2 Employment: $625000 annually
1099 Independent Contractor: $650000 annually
