At The Gahan House we believe in great beer great food and providing the highest level of service through our genuine hospitality. We aim to elevate the brew-pub experience for every guest by using fresh local ingredients in both our handcrafted beers and delicious food. The Gahan Experience is a memorable one and thats because of our people beer and food.
As a Prep Cook You Will
- Complete daily preparation of food
- Ensure food is prepped with a high quality and in a timely fashion
- Maintain the kitchen cleanliness and sanitation
- Organize work areas as well as storage areas
- Maintain a high standard of safety and sanitation
- Communicate with kitchen staff cooks sous chef and theHead Chef
- Follow instructions as directed by Sous Chef or Head Chef
- Assist in all areas of the kitchen as required
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations andsafety standards
- Clean kitchen and work area
- Follow all operations policies and procedure
- Work alongside of the restaurant team to establish a safeand fun atmosphere
Who You Are
- Positive and outgoing personality
- Love for building strong relations with team members
- Availability - Mornings 1 or 2 shifts per week
- Must possess a desire for personal andprofessional development
- Ability to multitask and maintain high energy in afast-pace environment
- A desire to have fun a work when you have fun our guests do too!
What You Bring
- Cooking or prep experience is an asset
- A culinary diploma or degree is considered an asset
