| Classification Minimum Requirements: | Bachelors degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience. |

| Job Description: | Accounting and Financial Duties: - Supports the review and analysis of financial transactions for auxiliary-related activities also known as Fee-for-Service Educational Activities (FSEA).
- Processes FSEA/Auxiliary journals collections and other fiscal processes assigned.
- Participates in the submission of university-related taxation payments as well as supports annual Unrelated Business Income (UBI) submissions as needed.
- Maintains fiscal records applications and supporting documentation within the FSEA database.
- Conducts other transactions throughout the year including but not limited to general accounting and financial reporting processes and year-end processes.
Compliance and Data Management Support: - Collects and organizes financial information and related auxiliary data to support risk assessment and internal control reviews.
- Assists in monitoring compliance with university policies federal regulations and internal procedures.
- Manages data collection of FSEAs through the Rate Review process to assist with analysis of operations cost accounting compliance and alignment with the Universitys mission.
- Collaborates with the Auxiliary Accounting team on maintaining secure controls and processes for the FSEA database.
Communication and Operations: - Assists with daily communications to university departments and personnel regarding Auxiliary Accounting-related topics to foster a collaborative culture.
- Maintains and updates departmental documents materials training files and online content to meet standards required for compliance and operations.
- Occasionally participates in on-site visits across the university and its related off-site locations to meet staff and faculty and understand FSEA operations.
- Provides administrative support for projects reports and departmental initiatives.
