The Opportunity

Were looking to hire an E-commerce Application Support Specialist in Riga Latvia. As our new colleague you will be ensuring daily support to keep our business rolling. Youre our ideal candidate if you have previous experience in Linux application support/ maintenance and you are passionate about investigating and solving customer issues.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Ensure E-commerce payment online application daily maintenance configuration and support
  • Test configure install and maintain new software releases patches and updates
  • Solve and remediate incidents and problems
  • Monitor and analyze service quality propose solutions for service improvement
  • Investigate customer and colleagues inquiries
  • Provide 2nd line support to ECOMM solution end customers via e-mail on technical and implementation-related topics.
  • Create preventive measures and perform system daily monitoring and checking in order to identify and prevent potential service interruption

Who Are We Looking For

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change step up and show whats next people with passion can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and practice this means:

  • Previous experience with Unix application support administration and server set-up
  • Oracle SQL query knowledge
  • Experience working in Customer Support seen as advantage
  • HTML and PHP knowledge seen as advantage
  • SSL/TLS certificate technology knowledge seen as advantage
  • QA manual testing experience seen as advantage
  • Previous working experience with Tieto CardSuite products seen as advantage
  • Experience in Cloud technology seen as advantage
  • Ability to take on-call shifts to react to possible incidents outside business hours (work requires standard working hours on-call duty is compensated separately)
  • Full working proficiency in English and Latvian
  • Reliability and precision at work
  • Strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with technical documentation
