The Purpose of This Role
The Enterprise Infrastructure (EI) Operations team is looking for a highly motivated individual to lead the PS-SRE teams being responsible for the operational and engineering services required to support our Production Support and SRE addition to strong technical competency the position requires the ability to effectively manage a geographically diverse team build and demonstrate client relationships and provide innovative thought leadership.
This role will be responsible to lead the Engineering and Systems Operational support for Business Unit aligned functions including Application Support Cloud Enablement Helpdesk Environment Management Resiliency Testing Automation Operations & Support and Platform Engineering. By demonstrating and promoting Fidelity and agile leadership behaviors you will evolve and sustain an innovative agile culture.
The Vice President of PS-SRE is a critical role that requires a strategic thinker collaborative leader and expert in Resiliency Observability Automation and major incident management. This role will involve people management of teams of engineering incident management problem management change management release engineering infrastructure and systems management. The successful candidate will have a track record of driving enterprise & Business Unit level initiatives managing major incidents and leading a team of IT engineering professionals to deliver high-quality IT services.
In this role your responsibilities include:
- Leading driving automating operational support & expanding SRE capabilities in the region
- Forming collaborative action plans with specific actions roles and deadlines and ensuring these are completed and leading programs in Region with global participation
- Being accountable for driving teams to resolving outages in a timely manner and following processes including engineering corrective actions to prevent future incidents from occurring
- Leading the SRE and Resiliency efforts in India across BU aligned teams
- Leverage development and large scale IT operations skills
- Vendor incident management and engagement with Cloud and Security SaaS providers i.e. AWS Microsoft etc.
- Matrix management of people processes and resources including third parties including resolving conflict to move forward to resolution
- Proactively identify opportunities to prevent future incidents and change process improvements
- Delivering timely and tailored communications in accordance with Fidelitys process guidelines.
- Training and coaching others to become drive both proactive and reactive improvements.

- SRE Expertise: Translate challenges into categories and themes for engineering investment areas or innovative solutions that can be scaled across the enterprise.
- Influencing Skills: Employs collaborative approach to gain consensus and support for the needs of the work. Understands organizational dynamics and adapts proposals to efficiently navigate constraints. Ability to learn quickly be flexible adapt and strive to excel in a fast paced changing environment.

- University Degree
- 12 years in a similar operational role required with a technical aptitude
- Must have full understanding of the ITIL ITSM practice to support the day-to-day operations
- Working knowledge of both development and operations including coding infrastructure management system administration and DevOps.
- Strong technical background with the ability to discuss architecture hardware and software concepts
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies to support day-to-day operations
- Ability to adapt to change and prioritize accordingly
- Customer orientated personality exhibiting professionalism and enthusiasm
- Analytical & detail orientated thought process with the ability to take methodical approach to activities
- Demonstrate ability to form trusted working relationships with business unit stakeholders through collaboration and enhanced effective communications.

This position sits within the Enterprise Infrastructure (EI) Operations India organization and will be responsible for providing BU aligned operational support. Our team supports internal customers spread across a variety of business units as well as external customers utilizing Fidelitys services and products.
