This is an on-call position which means it is a part-time hourly role. This position will work at least 10 hours per week and no more than 39 hours per week. The starting pay for this position is set at $19.29 per hour and is eligible to enroll in the City and County of Denvers 457b retirement plan. This position is not eligible for other additional benefits. Oncall positions may have routine or variable work schedules. Although these positions are flexible they are year-round and instructors will typically work 20-30 hours per week. Core hours for programming typically occur Monday through Friday 2:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. During the summer months (mid-June to mid-August) core hours for programming shift earlier and are typically 11:00 a.m -5:00 p.m. Typical program hours align with local DPS school schedules.
In this position you can expect to work on site at the Tennis Facilities in multiple recreation centers around the City and County of Denver.

Tennis Assistants begin the season with a Coaches Workshop that provides our coaches with expanded information on tennis instruction and prepares Tennis Professionals for individual and group lesson planning as well as season expectations.
