Contract Type: Travel
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 5x8 Days (7:00am3:30pm)
Pay: $2640/week
Completion Bonus: $2500 per contract (up to $7500 after three contracts)
Job Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital-based imaging environment. This role supports a wide range of nuclear medicine studies for adult and geriatric patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. Technologists will perform diagnostic scans prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate multiple nuclear imaging systems. On-call requirements will be discussed during the interview.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging procedures
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely
- Operate nuclear imaging equipment and processing systems
- Perform whole body organ and functional nuclear scans
- Conduct cardiac and pharmacologic stress testing procedures
- Perform ventilation/perfusion and renal studies
- Start and maintain IV access as needed for studies
- Ensure accurate image acquisition and PACS documentation
- Follow radiation safety and patient protection protocols
- Support inpatient and outpatient nuclear medicine workflows
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year nuclear medicine experience required
- BLS certification required
- Kentucky state license required
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required
- ARRT (R) certification preferred
- Experience with GE Philips or Siemens equipment preferred
- Experience in hospital imaging settings preferred
- Trauma center experience preferred
