Weve got a Station Hand job going at Pier Pier station about an hour from Coonamble and roughly 2.5 hours north-west of Dubbo.
Pier Pier has a mix of sheep wool cattle and cropping. Were looking for someone keen to get stuck in and be part of a small hardworking team.
This role would suit someone whos already spent a year or so on farm and wants to keep learning. You dont need to know everything - well train you on the job - but you do need a good attitude and a solid work ethic.
What we expect from you:
Youll get a mix of jobs including:
- Working with sheep and wool
- Handling cattle
- Helping with general repairs and maintenance
Youll fit in well if you:
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Have a passion for livestock and farming
- Have had some Grain/Hay experience or not scared to get in and be involved and learn new skills
- Have experience with machinery such as tractors front end loader motor bike and side by side
- Have a positive attitude
- Are reliable and keen to learn
- Are comfortable with station life
- Have working dogs or keen to learn
