Location: Florence SC
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 58 Days
Pay: $2716/week (plus $2500 completion bonus per contract up to $7500 after three contracts)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Florence SC. The OR RN will deliver exceptional perioperative care assisting surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient procedures while providing high-quality support to patients throughout the surgical process.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room and ensure all equipment instruments and supplies are available and sterile.
- Provide direct care to patients before during and after surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons during operations maintaining a sterile field and anticipating needs.
- Monitor patients conditions and respond quickly to any changes.
- Accurately document assessments interventions and patient progress according to facility protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to promote optimal surgical outcomes.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in South Carolina or a compact state.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience (travel experience preferred).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional facility-required certifications as applicable).
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test.
- Strong critical-thinking communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced high-acuity surgical environment.
