Job Summary
Location: Lindsay Ca
The IT Specialist is responsible for maintaining and supporting all technology systems within the juice manufacturing plant including hardware software network infrastructure production systems and user support. This role ensures smooth day-to-day plant operations by troubleshooting issues implementing technology solutions and maintaining compliance with company IT policies and cybersecurity standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-site and remote IT support for all plant employees and departments.
Install configure and maintain plant computers printers scanners network devices and related peripherals.
Maintain and troubleshoot production-related IT systems such as PLCs HMI interfaces labeling systems and manufacturing software.
Manage and support ERP inventory and production tracking systems.
Coordinate with corporate IT or external vendors for system upgrades backups and security updates.
Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity or performance issues.
Manage user accounts permissions and access controls in accordance with company policies.
Ensure data security and backup procedures are properly followed and documented.
Support implementation of new technology including hardware software and automated systems.
Provide employee training on system use and IT best practices.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets configurations and support tickets.
Participate in audits safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives related to IT systems.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Associate or Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field preferred.
24 years of IT support experience preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems Microsoft 365 and basic networking (TCP/IP DNS DHCP).
Experience with ERP MES or inventory management systems.
Familiarity with PLCs SCADA or other production automation systems (a plus).
Understanding of data backup cybersecurity and user support processes.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware software and connectivity issues efficiently.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to support production needs on short notice.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
Must be able to walk through production areas and climb stairs as needed.
Availability for occasional after-hours or weekend support during system upgrades or outages.
