We are seeking anAgile Delivery Lead to strengthen software delivery execution support our migration toAzure DevOps and help teams plan and deliver work with clarity and predictability.

Position Overview

The Agile Delivery Lead is responsible for enabling effective software delivery by improving how work is planned tracked and executed across teams. This role partners closely with Product Owners Engineering Leads and leadership to ensure delivery workflows are well-defined tooling is optimized and teams are set up for success.

This role doesnot own product strategy or people management. Instead it focuses ondelivery enablement tooling alignment and execution health drawing heavily on Agile principles and prior product experience.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Iteration Management

  • Enable structured iterative delivery cycles that align teams around clear goals and commitments
  • Support planning and execution rhythms that improve delivery predictability and flow
  • Help teams break work into well-defined achievable deliverables

Backlog & Product Readiness

  • Partner closely with Product Owners and Product Managers to ensure work is clearly defined prioritized and delivery-ready
  • Apply priorProduct Manager / Product Owner experience to help refine requirements acceptance criteria and sequencing
  • Support ongoing backlog refinement to reduce ambiguity and scope churn

Jira & Azure DevOps Tooling Support

  • Maintain and optimize Jira boards workflows and issue structures during the current delivery model
  • Play a key role in themigration from Jira to Azure DevOps including:
  • Supporting process and workflow mapping
  • Assisting with backlog sprint and reporting configuration
  • Helping teams adapt to new tooling and usage standards
  • Promote consistent high-quality work tracking across platforms

Facilitation & Team Enablement

  • Facilitate delivery-focused team touchpoints (planning progress alignment reviews and improvement discussions)
  • Encourage healthy communication and collaboration across product and engineering
  • Coach teams on delivery best practices without adding unnecessary process overhead

Delivery Metrics & Visibility

  • Track and analyze delivery metrics such as throughput cycle time predictability and blockers
  • Provide clear actionable delivery insights to engineering and leadership
  • Ensure delivery data is accurate trustworthy and useful for decision-making

Impediment & Dependency Management

  • Proactively identify and help resolve obstacles impacting delivery
  • Coordinate across engineering product infrastructure and external stakeholders to remove blockers
  • Help manage dependencies across teams and initiatives

Cross-Team & Initiative Support

  • Support delivery coordination across multiple teams or initiatives when needed
  • Help align delivery execution with broader product and organizational goals
  • Provide execution support for complex or high-priority initiatives

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in an Agile delivery iteration management or execution-focused role within a software development organization
  • Strong hands-on experience withJira and familiarity withAzure DevOps or similar delivery tooling
  • Solid understanding of Agile and iterative delivery principles
  • Proven ability to facilitate discussions surface issues and drive alignment without formal authority
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Highly Desired Experience

  • Previous experience as aProduct Manager or Product Owner
  • Experience translating business needs into clear actionable delivery work
  • Experience supporting or leadingtooling migrations (Jira Azure DevOps or similar)
  • Background inhealthcare SaaS or regulated environments
  • Agile product or delivery certifications (CSM PSM SAFe CSPO or similar)
