Locations: Flowood MS & Jackson MS
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $17-$23 per hour (Based on Experience)
We are seeking motivated and dependable experienced Electrical Apprentices to join our growing team. This position is ideal for individuals who want to build a long-term career in the electrical trade through hands-on training mentorship and real-world experience on commercial and industrial projects.
Position Overview
As an Electrical Apprentice you will assist licensed electricians with installation maintenance and repair work while learning industry standards safety practices and technical skills. You will work closely with experienced professionals and gain valuable on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with installing conduit wiring fixtures and electrical equipment
Pull wire terminate devices and support basic panel work under supervision
Safely use hand and power tools including drills benders and meters
Help read and follow basic blueprints schematics and instructions
Keep job sites clean organized and safe at all times
Load unload and organize tools and materials
Support daily crew activities and jobsite setup
Communicate with foremen and journeymen and ask questions to learn
Participate in apprenticeship training and complete required coursework
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
2 years experience in electrical work
Basic knowledge of electrical systems
Reliable punctual and able to work well in a team environment
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation (as required)
Ability to pass pre-employment screening if applicable
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs climb ladders and work in various conditions
OSHA 10 preferred or willingness to obtain
