Soccer Shots is an engaging childrens soccer program with a focus on character development. Our caring team positively impacts childrens lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching curriculum and communication. We specialize in programs for children ages 2 through 12 years old and are dedicated to providing high-quality foundational soccer training that prepares children for a lifetime of soccer.

We are looking for caring and engaging coaches who can work a minimum of once per week and can commit to at least 8 weeks of the same day/time. We have weekend and weekday evening programs that meet at parks across the city. Soccer Shots programs are offered during select weeks of the year; thus employment is seasonal. All employment is at-will.

Available Shifts:
Monday through Friday 8:45am-12pm
Monday through Friday 2:30pm-4:30pm
Monday through Friday 4pm-7pm
Saturday Sunday 845am-1pm OR 2-5pm
*must be able to commit to 8-10 weeks of the same time/day*

MUST RESIDE IN Colorado Springs!

Though we continue to grow we are still a family business at heart. We aim to develop each of our coaches in areas including leadership early childhood education and sports management.

Requirements

Must love impacting children and the game of soccer.
Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
Experience working with young children
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Soccer playing or coaching background (preferred)
Must be able to pass a background check

Responsibilities

It is a coachs responsibility to manage and direct all duties related to the operation of a Soccer Shots session including but not limited to the following:

Preparation

Attends coaches meeting at beginning of season.
Reviews online curriculum (prepared for you ahead of time and aligned with Colorado state early education standards).
Maintains equipment in proper condition and arrives on time to set-up field for session.

Coaching

Ensures the safety and well-being of every child.
For childcare sites gathers children from classroom and returns after session (note: for public location no pick-up/drop-off required).
Follows proper on-site protocol for each location as prepared and provided by Soccer Shots supervisor.
Conducts fun and positive 30 to 45-minute sessions following the weekly Soccer Shots curriculum.
Highly responsible reliable and ENERGETIC!

Communication/Administration

Communicates in a timely fashion with supervisor about any changes challenges or important information.
Completes online attendance sheet for each session.
Submits time sheet per payroll policy.
Returns equipment and leftover supplies to supervisor upon completion of each season.
